About Us
My familyMy name is Ingke and I am a CIW-registered childminder based in Llanelli. I am married to Darren, who is the director of a local legal services Company. I have been working with children aged 0-14 years of age for quite a number of years now and in different ways too. I first went on holiday with youngsters aged 8-14, then babysat for several people, had my own children, ran two toddler groups, volunteered as a helper in primary school, worked for children’s centre services as a crèche helper and then ended up doing my level 3 in childcare, which got me working in several nurseries as we moved around the country. My passion is to provide a loving and caring place where children can grow in confidence and learn to their own abilities and in their own time, with me as their support and comforter when they need it. I also want parents to feel comfortable and for them to know that their child is happy and well cared for while they are working. I will always listen to parent's concerns and do the best to my ability to keep them up-to-date with their children’s development. We also have two female cats (sisters) called Cookie and Gracie who have both had all their necessary injections. Cookie is a little bit shy but Gracie constantly craves for cuddles (and food!). My children will always be supervised when they are in the room.

Services
My Opening Hours and who I look afterI am registered with CIW to care for girls and boys from birth to 8 years, but I can also look after children over 8 outside of school hours and my service is open to all families and children in the community. I am allowed to have no more then 6 children in total and no more then 3 children under full time school age. I also may be able to look after children with additional needs.
My main working hours are Monday - Saturday 7am-7pm and Sunday 9am-7pm, but I am flexible and will start earlier if needed or will keep children longer. I work during school holidays, Bank holidays and I do school pick ups and drop offs from various local schools. I look after full or part time children and may be able to have a child in an emergency situation if numbers allow me to do so.
Meals, Snacks and RoutinesI will provide healthy meals and snacks throughout the day with drinks unless parents decide to provide the food themselves or if it is easier and safer for the child because of allergies. Children will have Breakfast like porridge or weetabix with fruit, a snack at about 10am which could be a biscuit or some pieces of fruit, lunch at about 12am (depending on nursery pick up/drop off), a snack at 2.45pm and tea at 5pm. The main meals are without added sugar or salt. Children will get water throughout the day and milk at breakfast and snack times. These meals are included in the price for a full day.

Forest School
Forest school is a selection of outdoor activities for children. These include messy outdoor playing, building tents (‘dens!’), gardening, all things that teach the children about nature and the world around them. This takes place in all weather, unless too wet or too cold! I will shortly be undergoing training to provide this service. Please contact me if you wish to be notified further or have any questions on this. -
Facilities
Our house is in a quiet area and has a big enclosed garden with two plum trees and an area to grow fruits and vegetables. There are outdoor and indoor toys for all ages. There is a sleep room upstairs which is for children who are used to sleeping on their own. We have a little driveway which can be used for parking, although there is normally always a space in front of the house. We have 2 toilets on our property. One is on the first floor and children will be taken there if needed and there is a toilet in the outside building in the garden which I will use during the warm days when we are outside in the garden playing. I will take children to toddler groups and sometimes to the story time in the library. We will also sometimes do shopping together and maybe go to the post office or other places of interest. During the holidays I might take children on trips, but I will ask for written permission before all trips.
